Pressure cabin with filter
The pressure shot blasting cabin is a machine for shot blasting small and medium workpieces. The blasting is performed manually with a pressure blasting set. It is possible to use any recyclable shot in the cabin. Another advantage of the pressure blasting cabin is the ability to achieve higher blasting performance than the injector cabin.
The blasting is performed through the hand holes located on the front side of the cabin. To prevent shot and dust escape, the hand holes are equipped with gloves made of wear resistant rubberised material. The workpieces are put in the cabin through two-part tilting doors or through side openings. The blasting process is started and stopped using a foot switch.
The standard equipment of the OTECO pressure cabin consists of:
- stable steel sheet cabin with tilting doors (supervised by a limit switch in accordance with the security norms) and side openings equipped with rollers to make workpiece manipulation easier
- complete protective covering of the workin area with exchangable wear resistant rubber curtains
- mechanical rotary table with 250 kg loading capacity
- air blasting pistol for the cleaning of workpieces after blasting
- screw conveyor and bucket elevator for shot transportation (for elevator version)
- shot cleaning unit (for elevator version)
- pressure blasting set (pressure vessel capacity 40 to 200 litres) with 4 to 8 mm diameter boron carbide nozzle
For the pressure cabin to work reliably, it has to be connected to effective exhausting. For this purpose, OTECO delivers an automatic ecologic JET filter with the cabin. This device ensures the continous cleanness of the shot during the blasting process and prevents dust escape from the cabin.
Complete electric installation ensures the proper functioning and fusing of the machine. The pneumatic equipment ensures compressed air distribution to the air consuming parts of the machine.
