OPTIMA hook conveyor shot blasting machine

This machine is designed for shot blasting of workpieces hanged on a moving, rotating hook. The shot is blasted on the moving and rotating workpieces in such a way that its whole surface is blasted during one blasting cycle. The workpieces can be hanged on the hook individually or in groups. In case of blasting workpiece groups, a so called tree is used. The tree's shape is designed according to the size and shape of the workpieces and in accordance with the requirement of maximal utilization of the working space without overloading the hook.

The machine is equipped with a pair of hooks, which can be mechanically moved on an I or T shaped conveyor track. The shape of the track enables the loading or unloading of one hook while the workpieces on the other hook are blasted. This lowers the time loss to a minimum.

The blasting cabin is made of steel. The inner surface is coated with wear resistant material. The lower part of the cabin is funnel shaped and it collects the blasted shot. Built in it is a screw conveyor, which transports the shot to the elevator. The spatial arrangement of the lifting system is solved in a way that it does not need any special floor alteration.

The impellers are installed in the side walls of the machine, in a way that shot could reach the blasted workpieces the most efficiently. The blasted shot is delivered to the cleaning device, which separates the contamination from the shot so it can be returned in the blasting cycle.

The machine's exhaust port is connected to an automatic ecologic JET filter, which ensures the shot cleaning and effectively cleans the air exhausted from the blasting chamber. The OPTIMA hook conveyor blasting machines are manufactured in five standard sizes.
